A Post About Daddy!!!

CAB is a man of many hobbies, I am so proud of him in all he does... Finally, here's a few of his interests I can brag about online...

He LOVES wood carving!

This is Daddy's tool box...

If you have down tree limbs, bring them over...Not really. Daddy loves to create something from nothing. Hmm...That's where A~boy gets it from!

This is what you call a doll house for boys. Instead of dolls, worms and bugs!

It was so cozy, A~boy was determined to have his nap there.

For any concerned~ He wasn't really sleeping.

~Now for Daddy's latest endeavor~

For years CAB has done nothing but talk about wanting to survive out in the wilderness, with nothing...This is coming from the man who is Mr. Sanitizer. If he was ever stuck on a deserted island and could only bring a few things, one would be hand sanitizer and maybe his favorite pillow:o) So when the opportunity presented itself, CAB could not pass it up.

Here's seeing Daddy off on his great adventure...K~girl was not thrilled with this idea. Throughout the weekend, on countless occasions, I was informed how much they missed their Daddy:o(

As the kids were awaiting Daddy's arrival...

Daddy was making a trap for a different bunny to hop under. We won't tell the kids that one;o)

This is surviving in the wilderness, WITH NOTHING...

I was also informed the instructor did have a cook so they did not have to survive off of plants all weekend long.

This is just one of his many pictures of a plant that I found on the camera. It's either a plant you can eat, or....

They did learn how to make spears out of rocks and make rope from weeds. Daddy also had a funny story about Uncle B finding a great vine to weave a basket out of. When they took it back to camp it turned out to be a poison ivy... Luckily they had a special plant to neutralize it. What a bad week that would have been!


The waiting paid off...



K~girl got a bracelet that was specially made by Daddy...We missed him very much, but also glad he had a chance for some guy time!
