...the kids caught many fireflies, learned about daddy long-legs and "barking spiders", and know why I named this post "Around the Water Cooler" instead of "...Campsite". Its common for Papa to take a snooze after the 12 mile. From the picture I'm sure you can guess how Aunt Corie and Daddy planned to wake him up:) Even though Papa woke just as their plan was about to go down, he still didn't see it coming:p
We look forward to these float trips all year...and now we get to include our children. God is good and protecting... and kept my "momma nerves" in check. We are already anticipating Float Trip 2012, were Nina can experience all the same joys of the time spent around the Illinois River.
