***Update*** Meme is doing very well and is back home. She has very minimal damage, which should be able to heal itself. Thank you all for your prayers!!!
Well our days of wallowing in self pitty with our sicknesses came to a halt yesterday afternoon, as we got word from Poppy that MeMe was being taken to the hospital. When she was at work, in a doctor's office~ what a blessing that was..., she was rushed to the hospital with chest pains and high enzymes. When we showed up, you would think there was not a thing wrong. She was just upset that she had to leave work the way she did;o) So we're thinking she just must be having the same stuff Dad had almost exactly a year ago, nothing too major. Well that was not the case. They took her in for some test and ended up having to put a balloon and stint in. It was such a close call... She is doing very well now, and as always, she is worrying about everybody else and even making sure we let the dogs out;). There has been damage to her heart, but no word yet on how extensive. Please join my family in prayer that the damage will heal itself on its own, also as this patient is used to being the one taking care of others, will let us finally take care of her.
God, thank you so much for my mom and your hand in this...the right place, the right people suggesting test, the wonderful doctors, the close call that only you knew the timing of and everything else that has yet to be seen in our eyes and our time. We trust in you and ask for your hand in healing her heart and keep bringing your blessing upon her as you have clearly already showered us with...We love you for today, tomorrow and eternity, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.
