Wow, what a year.... It couldn't have been more perfect!!!! The weather was beautiful, not too hot and no storms. The water was just right, and we didn't lose the kids, or Uncle Michael to a heavy current- always a fear of ours.:)
The most coolest thing about this year is we had someone around to keep Papa on his toes. You might have already guessed it, because the only one who can keep Papa in check is Nina!
Anyone who knows Nina knows this is a milestone for her. The only ones who could even talk Nina into such an adventure were her grandkids' plea with their well rehearsed "puppy dog eyes". With perfect conditions, and her prearranged hotel accommodations I think we won Nina over. It was also wonderful seeing Papa happy to have his bride at his side. He is no longer the 5th wheel. :)
