Towels for our Zoo Pals

K~girl's school collected over 200 used, clean towels for our zoo friends!!! We were so excited to have Meme there to help us deliver all of them. The zoo will use these for the animals bedding, and to clean them off. A~boy had a wonderful question that he's been waiting all week to ask the zoo keepers, "How do you clean the lions and tigers off?" So intuitive, he is:) He finally got his answer: They clean themselves. Now if you ask him about it, he will actually show you how its done;)

After our mission was accomplished, it was time have fun, and go visit these wonderful creatures.

It has been years since Meme has experienced the zoo, so this was an exciting trip showing her all the new exhibits!!!

FYI~ For those interested in getting rid of your old dingy towels, most places that take care of animals will gladly take them. Such as the Humane society, vet clinics, etc...
